Why we recommend it

This is the sachet version of the sodium problem the ice pops solve, with a diuretic angle added. Dandelion root and horsetail are traditional diuretics, which is either the point or beside it depending on why you would choose it

The two parts deserve separating. The electrolyte case is mechanical and well understood: low insulin means you shed sodium, and putting it back settles the headache and the cramp. The diuretic case is softer, but can reduce bloating and water retention when you need it.

Only carbohydrates become glucose. Protein becomes amino acids and fat becomes fatty acids, which is why a fatty snack with two grams of carbohydrate does very little to your glucose and a fat-free one with twenty does rather a lot.
