Why we recommend it

Most fish oil is sold on the total oil figure rather than on the part that does anything. A 1000mg capsule can hold 300mg of EPA and DHA between them and still call itself high strength on the front of the tub. This gives 1300mg across two softgels, which is a proper dose.

Only carbohydrates become glucose. Protein becomes amino acids and fat becomes fatty acids, which is why a fatty snack with two grams of carbohydrate does very little to your glucose and a fat-free one with twenty does rather a lot.
