Why we recommend it

Wraps can look good at first glance. Roll them thin enough and the carb numbers look excellent, right up until the thing splits the moment a filling goes in. These fold properly and hold something substantial.

At 4.6g they sit near the top of the Low band, so two in a sitting is most of the slack in a low-carb day. The fibre is doing real work: 9.3g a wrap is more than many people manage in a whole meal, and it is part of why the carbohydrate that is there arrives slowly.

I've tried it, I love it, so does Nico.

How we choose products

Nothing gets on this list because a brand asked. We try everything ourselves. And only recommend things we'd feed to our families.

The carb bands are ours. Zero is under a gram a serving, Low under five, Medium under ten. Where a product's own marketing and its nutrition panel disagree, the panel wins and we say so on the page.

Only carbohydrates become glucose. Protein becomes amino acids and fat becomes fatty acids, which is why a fatty snack with two grams of carbohydrate does very little to your glucose and a fat-free one with twenty does rather a lot.
