Why we partnered with Fatt
A few years ago, at a health seminar, our co-founder Liton found a brownie in his goody bag, ate it, and logged it in the Nico app. He was wearing a Nico energy sensor, so his blood sugar shows up as a line on screen in real time. He expected it to climb the way it does after most snacks that call themselves keto or sugar-free. Much to his surprise, the tasty treat did not come with a glucose spike. His glucose curve stayed almost flat.
That bar was made by Fatt, and Liton has recommended them to our community ever since. This week we announced a partnership with them. Fatt and Nico are working together to help people improve their metabolic health through habit and lifestyle change.
Most packaged snacks cause big spikes
At Nico, we spend our days looking at member data: the impact thousands of meals and snacks have on different people's bodies. The same lesson shows up again and again.

The label on the front of the pack tells you very little about what the food does once it is inside you. "Low sugar" can cause spikes. "High protein" causes spikes. Even "Keto" foods can cause spikes, because the hidden starches (glucose) are skipped in the marketing claims. People eat these things believing they are making a good choice, feel the crash an hour later.
So we are careful about which foods we put our name near. When your whole job is showing people the truth of their own data, you cannot endorse something that betrays them on the screen. The monitor keeps everyone honest, brands included.
Fatt is one of the few that holds up - we tested a lot of them across various members in the Nico community before we agreed to work together.
What makes Fatt different
Fatt makes clean ultra-low carb snacks from a short list of real ingredients. No sweeteners, not even the ones most brands treat as harmless, because sweeteners can keep cravings alive and unsettle the gut. No seed oils. No palm oil. The sweetness comes from prebiotic fibre, chicory root, which feeds the good bacteria in your gut instead of feeding your blood sugar.
The result is a snack that reads on a monitor the way whole food does: gentle, or close to flat. Eat one and your line barely moves, which is rare enough in this category to be worth saying out loud.
We also share a mission. Fatt's founder, Hannah Sutter, has spent two decades arguing that metabolic health should be within everyone's reach rather than a luxury. That is our fight too. We come at it from different angles, her through food and us through a service, but we are pointed at the same thing: helping people take back control of how their bodies work.
What we built together
Out of that came the Fatt x Nico Metabolic Reset. It is a free twelve-week programme, one small habit a week, built to help you steady your blood sugar wherever you are on your journey. It costs nothing and it sells nothing. Each week gives you one thing to try and the reason it works, from the after-dinner walk to how to spot hidden glucose in food, so the good choices you are already making start to add up to more.
Choosing a snack that keeps your blood sugar level is one of those choices. The Reset teaches the rest.
The point was never the snack
What we care about most is that you learn to read your own body. An energy sensor turns the invisible into something you can see, and once you have seen it, you make different choices without anyone having to nag you. You find out that some foods you feared are fine for you, and some you trusted are not. That knowledge is personal, and it is yours to keep.
Fatt is a food that is kind to the glucose curve. That is the highest compliment we know how to give. If you want to see how the rest of your own choices impact your unique body, that is what we are here for.
